Who is deciding?
Ask for the prescriber’s full name, job and licence number. Ask which state board lists their licence, then check it there.
What is being offered?
Ask for both the drug and product names, and check the form: tablet or shot. Ask who makes it and why it fits your health.
What am I agreeing to?
Ask for the cost after any offer ends, the follow-up plan and the way to leave the service.
Compare the written answers. A polished site is not an answer to any of these questions.
What is the prescriber deciding?
These medicines copy the effects of natural gut messages that help control hunger and blood sugar.
A prescription is the medicine order itself. Its author must be a doctor, or a different health professional whose role legally permits prescribing.
Ask who reviews your health and explains whether a medicine fits the goal you want to treat.
Can online care be real?
With telehealth, care takes place by video, telephone or messages exchanged online.
Extra rules aimed at misuse apply to medicines classified as controlled drugs.
A first visit for a prescription drug that is not controlled can be online without a prior room visit under US federal law. That was the federal rule in September 2026.
Semaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutide were not on the federal controlled-drug lists in September 2026.
